Deconstructed candle in pure organic beeswax: Candle kit. Pack

The package contains 100g of pure organic beeswax in blocks and a 20cm long pure cotton wick. This kit is ideal for those who love DIY and natural and ecological products.
Beeswax is produced in Piedmont directly by our bees. 
The kit is suitable for making a candle, but the wax can also be used for soaps, creams, butter-cocoa, cosmetics, tarpaulin, wood wax...
Beeswax candles burn very slowly with little smoke and a delicate scent reminiscent of honey. 
To make them, simply choose the mold, melt the wax in a bain-marie using the supplied jar, fix the wick and pour into your favorite container. The wax melts starting from 63°C.
Pure beeswax can develop a white patina called ”flowering” on the surface, which is easily removed with a soft cloth. 
Bees produce wax through particular glands in the abdomen in the form of tiny scales. 
A flake of wax weighs about 0.8 mg, and it takes more than a million to produce a single kilo of wax.
Due to its waterproofing, nourishing and antibacterial properties, beeswax has been used since ancient times as a base for various skin and wood care preparations.

BODY PREPARATIONS
These preparations are easily made with a few ingredients such as a saucepan, vegetable oils, any honey and little else:
The oldest is “COLD CREAM”, emollient and refreshing, whose recipe originates in the London Pharmacopoeia of 1618; then we have BUTTERCOCAO and HAND CREAM.
With beeswax and a few drops of lavender essential oil you can prepare an excellent DEPILATORY WAX.
SOAPS
To prepare beeswax-based soap there are two ways: with caustic soda (a somewhat delicate process) or with soap bases, which are very easy to use even in the company of your children.
FURNITURE WAX
E‘you can make great furniture wax with just three ingredients: beeswax, carnauba wax, and turpentine. All melted in a bain-marie. Be careful when handling turpentine.
FOOD FILM
You need a piece of fabric, some flaked beeswax and the kitchen oven. Very easy.
